The extruder ES 2,2 can execute a wide range of welds covering all needs in joining of plastic plates and foils. Special welding boots for each type of welds ensure perfect leakproof bonding of the fed material with welded item. Thanks to our patented design the boot is rotational in the range of 360°.
This feature together with its compact size and low weight of the equipment ensures excellent ability to execute welds in any confined areas.

Inner welds of perpendicular plates
This type of welds is widely used for bonding of perpendicular plastic plates.It is advantageous to provide a plate perpendicular to a surface with welds from both sides.

Outer welds of perpendicular plates
In case that the perpendicular plates cannot be welded on the inner side, it is necessary to use the boot for outer welds. It is important to put plates together in such a way that there is enough space for added material on the outer side.

Planar welds of parallel plates
Plastic plates can easily be welded together using planar welds. Material is added through one of four special welding boots, it fills the gap created by machining of edges of both plates as shown on the picture.

Welds of overlapped foils
Plastic foil is the kind of material which can be welded using both types of extruders, particularly using the model ES 4, as this is a special machine designed just for welding of foils. Two types of welding boots are designed for this type of welding.
